GARBAGE: As we are all too aware, animals get into trash that is put out for Monday's pick up. It is 'usually' those residents that place bags out. I would like to remind all that it is mandatory that everyone in Pomona Park have a trash can (or more) with lids. We recommend putting your cans out early Monday morning but realize Sunday evening is more convenient for many. Further, we ask residents to remove your cans from the street area and place back up by your house Monday evenings.
Our Maintenance team spends Mondays (after garbage trucks go through) picking up strewn garbage. As you can imagine, this is taxing on our team - especially with mowing season quickly approaching.
We would appreciate all residents assisting us by: 1.) Placing all garbage in receptacles AND 2.) If your cans are knocked over by animals, that you pick up debris yourselves.
Thank you so much for your cooperation.
