The Town of Pomona Park is located in South Putnam County where there are more trees than people. There are large and small lakes in abundance. The St Johns River passes nearby, creating fabulous boating, fishing and bird watching opportunities. There are many places to hike, swim or lounge in the sun. Check out Putnam Blueways and Trails!

This area is known as the "Bass Capital of the World" and "The Fern Capital of Florida". The nearby areas of Mount Royal, Drayton Island and Salt Springs were inhabited by Florida's Indian Tribes as evidenced by archeological finds.
